En de Oscar® voor beste animatiefilm (of toch de Annie award) gaat naar…

De 2012 Annie Awards werden vorig weekend uitgerekend en “Rango” nam de prijs mee naar huis voor beste geanimeerde langspeelfilm. Gore Verbinski’s gekke western nam ook de award mee naar huis voor beste scenario, beste montage en de members favorite award, maar de beste regie ging naar Jennifer Yuh Nelson voor “Kung fu panda 2″.

Bill Nighy won de prijs voor beste stem voor z’n werk in “Arthur Christmas” terwijl “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” de karakter animatie award mee naar huis nam. took home the Character Animation in a Live Action Feature Production award.

Ook “The simpsons” vielen in de prijzen maar we onthouden vooral dat “Rango” weer een stap dichter staat bij de Oscar voor beste animatiefilm.
